In this design involves the concept of ‘transparency and illusion’ and bring the customer in mind, between interior and exterior of this store to play on the perspective of ‘arcade’.
Random sets and organic curves inspired by Thomas Heatherwick’s sculpture work together to form a cave like a cage from the rectilinear boundaries of the shell.
The interior design here provides the intimacy and protection from high wind & Docklands run organic curves intended to divert visitors to an awkward end to the ‘L’ shaped plan & at the same time providing merchandise benches, walls and ceilings. Covering part of the existing structural arch pole & ending with the cladding is reflected in the sales desk space seems to expand and promote a game perspective. Gift store brands and heroes through the use of strong architectural form and use of common materials. OSB panels (used for landfill daily) makeup Agenda Fame curve reaches a strong visual statement with a low cost. Background, black-painted walls that look shiny simple achieve infinite depth. Combines the basic ingredients against the slick, glossy & satin against providing honest & warmth chosen carefully so as not to defeat the products.
