Situated between the Meatpacking Districts at the borders of Highline Park the rooftop apartment was remodelled to meet the needs of its new inhabitants. Innocad Architecture changed it functionally and enhanced the design by mixing European design and New York lifestyle and thus creating a fresh atmophere.

Materials and choice of colours represent both high quality standards and relaxed urbanity. Each room mirrors an immediate visual reference to the fascinating land and roofscape of New York City.

Casa Cardenas is a House with a modern and simple design which had been settled by Parque Humano. The modern House is located in the Valle de Bravo, Mexico. Casa Cardenas is one of the awesome project of Parque Humano with the concept of taking advantage ofthe triangular character of the plot, the slope of the land and the views towards the Cerro Gordo´s Natural Reserve. This is very awesome plus with every spaces has its own characteristics with proportion relation of adjacent rooms, as well as the relationship with the existing landscape.

The following of description from the architect :

For the concept of this project we have taken advantage of the triangular character of the plot, the slope of the land and the views towards the Cerro Gordo´s Natural Reserve. The building has been conceived as a homogenous mass, hollowing out a huge opening with an inviting forced perspective effect caused by the asymmetric walls that frames the natural panorama. With the objective of building an interior/exterior relation, the volumetric setting of sloping walls and slabs allow the visual journey from the interior space, deeply linking the project to the existing landscape, it is the exterior landscape which organizes our interior spaces.

The house is developed in two volumes separated by a garden and connected by a bridge. Parking and service areas organize the access level. From here, the stairs lead to the main access. Within the first volume, we have place on the ground level the living and dining space and the kitchen bedrooms were placed in the second level. The subsequent volume hosts a working studio, facing the inner court. Each spaces has a proportion and a characteristic relation with the adjacent space, as well as a relation with the existing Landscape.

The house overlooks the environment incorporating the landscape, making an atmosphere of outdoor life, reconstructing the dynamic perception of the space with an emphasis on the emotional bonds between subject and nature. The Flinders University School of Medicine Teaching Faculty is one of the amazing projects designed by Grieve Gillett. Flinders University located in Adelaide, Australia. The building looks very magnificent and modern, with it’s own identity, the building relates to the adjacent Health Science building in form and materials to complete the new “Health Sciences” precinct. The building responds to and accommodates the existing pedestrian circulation paths from the main campus to the Medial School.

This modern building is located at the intersection of University Drive and Ring Road. Sited on a steep, highly exposed hillside the building forms an entry statement for the Flinders University campus, whilst acting as a lantern at night. The design accommodates and reinforces the existing circulation of the University campus linking the University to Flinders Medical Centre. Materials selected are typically base material finish – refined yet robust for longevity of performance and reduction in maintenance.

The building comprises a 250 seat lecture theatre, eight 15 person seminar rooms, two 18 person meeting rooms, associated service rooms and facilities and roof terrace. The lighting deliberately enhances the open “lantern” nature of the architecture providing a functioning and welcoming contact point for the campus after dark. Shading to the glass reduces the mechanical plant size and extends equipment life. External blinds provide flexibility and reduce energy consumption. Operable windows provide fresh air. Glazing maximizes access to natural light, including to corridor spaces, reducing reliance on artificial lighting. Low energy, long life LED light fittings are used in the auditorium. The School of Medicine has exceeded the client’s brief, within budget and program. The design maximizes the potential of this challenging site providing an entry statement to the campus that is functional, flexible and environmentally responsible, a building that maximizes views and compliments the surrounding natural and built environment. Vertex is cool contemporary indoor outdoor furniture with amazing sculptural qualities.
